New Strategic Plan
The end of 2018 also marks the end of the AEC’s first strategic planning period. When the foundation of the AEC was created in 2016, the Strategic Plan was founded on three pillars: Organizational, Stewardship, and Economic Growth.
The AECs work has advanced over the years and there has been a need to update the previous pillars and to add Global AEC as a new pillar.
In the renewed AEC Strategic Plan the four pillars are;
- Economic Growth
- Global AEC
- Arctic Stewardship
- Strong Organization
The AEC’s Strategic Plan 2019-2021 covers a period of 3 years with the opportunity to extend the planning period with 2 additional years.
