Landsvirkjun
Landsvirkjun is the National Power Company of Iceland. Landsvirkjun generates electricity solely from 100% renewable sources: hydropower, geothermal and wind.
Landsvirkjun is the nation’s biggest energy company, supplying over 70% of all electricity produced in Iceland to industries, services, and households. Around 85% of Landsvirkjun’s energy is sold to power-intensive industries, while 15% is distributed in the wholesale market.
Landsvirkjun joined AEC in 2025.
