Offshore Norge

Offshore Norge is a professional body and employer’s association for oil and supplier companies. It has been the most important arena for cooperation and interaction for the oil and gas industry in Norway. Offshore Norge also organises offshore wind companies, companies that capture and store CO2 under the seabed. Companies involved in hydrogen and marine minerals. Solutions that will be vital for the energy transition.

Offshore Norge is represented in the AEC by the International Director, Erling Kvadsheim. He has spent his entire career in the oil and gas sector and knows the industry and the issues that are important for this sector very well. He has a background as geologist, and has worked in oil companies, for the Norwegian authorities, as a strategy consultant and now as head of one of the departments in the oil companies’ industry association. Among his responsibilities are international relations and Arctic issues.
