Arctic Science Summit Week 2024

The 2024 Arctic Science Summit Week will be taking place in Edinburgh, and will be hosted at the University of Edinburgh at two different locations: the Pollock Estate for main events and the Dynamic Earth for the Science Day on March 26th.
The Arctic Science Summit Week will include three parts:
- ASSW 2024 Business and Community Meetings (21 – 29 March 2024)
- ASSW 2024 Science Day 2024 “Arctic Coasts” (26 March 2024)
- Arctic Observing Summit 2024 (27 – 29 March 2024)
Registration deadline for in-person attendance: Thursday, March 7th
Registration deadline for online attendance: Monday, March 18th
“The Arctic Science Summit Week (ASSW) is organised annually by the International Arctic Science Committee (IASC) to provide opportunities for coordination, cooperation and collaboration between the various scientific organisations involved in Arctic research. It was initiated by the IASC in 1999 and has evolved into the most important annual gathering of the Arctic research organisation.
The Business and Community Meetings includes annual meetings of the participating organisations:
- International Arctic Science Committee (IASC)
- Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS)
- European Polar Board (EPB)
- Forum of Arctic Research Operators (FARO)
- Indigenous Peoples’ Secretariat (IPS)
- International Arctic Social Sciences Association (IASSA)
- Ny-Ålesund Science Managers Committee (NySMAC)
- Pacific Arctic Group (PAG)
- University of the Arctic (UArctic)”
